YOUR ARIZONA TAX CREDIT

HOW THE ARIZONA QCO TAX CREDIT WORKS

The Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO) Tax Credit lets you direct part of your Arizona state income tax to support the work of Zion City Care Center (QCO 22705). This isn’t an extra gift - it’s a dollar-for-dollar tax credit that can reduce what you owe when you file your Arizona return.

You can give up to the allowed credit amount (based on your filing status) and receive the full credit back on your state tax return - all while helping provide food, resources, and care to families in our community.

REMEMBER:

  • Dollar-for-dollar tax credit (not just a deduction)
  • No itemizing required to claim this credit.
  • Gift must be made by April 15 and may apply to current or prior tax year
  • Zion City Care Center QCO Code 22705
  • Credit can be applied even if you give less than the maximum.

The deadline to give for your current filing year is April 15, 2026 (the day tax filing is due). This allows you to give toward Zion City Care Center and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against state taxes owed for your current filing year. If, for instance, you are filing your 2024 tax return in the spring of 2025, you may still give for the 2023 tax year against your tax liability and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against state taxes owed.
