MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT

Zion City Mobile Medical Unit focuses on providing free healthcare to various communities in Pima County. The MMU offers wellness checks, school physicals, sports physicals, blood pressure checks, glucose test, pregnancy test, and more. MMU is open the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

PRISON REENTRY PROGRAM

Walking Free assists with reentry by providing those formerly incarcerated with relationship, services, and resources as they work to reclaim and establish their lives.

The success of our clients is the result of their commitment and relationship with their coaches. What makes Walking Free different from other organizations is its holistic and faith-based approach. FOOD PANTRY, PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS, BABY ITEMS, AND WARM MEALS

The Zion City Care Center aims to serve the community with basic food needs. Every month groceries are distributed to over 500 individuals. At our City Care Center, we serve free hot meals to anyone that shows up. We provide free quality clothing for men, women, and children. We also provide free personal hygiene and feminine products.

PREGNANCY SERVICES

We offer a variety of resources. Some of the resources include pregnancy test, formula, diapers, baby essentials, Access Insurance and Snap registration, and more. We are in the process of creating a Pregnancy Center.

Embrace Grace

Embrace Grace exists to love and encourage single and pregnant young woman and their families. Women experiencing unexpected pregnancies will receive practical, spiritual, and emotional support in an Embrace Grace group.

FAQ’s

You can expect to be treated with dignity and respect. We will do our best to make you as comfortable as possible while waiting. We will respect your privacy and keep you informed about your medical condition. We will provide the following care, as we have funds and/or volunteers available:

  • Medical exams and follow up
  • Referrals to specialists if appropriate
  • Medication assistance
  • Laboratory testing and other diagnostic testing
  • Assistance with other needs
We expect you to treat our staff & volunteers with respect and extend patience as we work to meet your needs. to serve you well, we expect your cooperation to provide the necessary documentation and that all information given, whether written or verbal, is accurate (i.e., information regarding any communicable disease you have previously been diagnosed with; school forms that need to be completed; insurance documentation, etc.)
Medical insurance is not a requirement. You will be treated whether you have insurance or not. However, if you have insurance available we will request a copy of your insurance card and we will submit a statement for payment.

Records will be kept electronically.
Your health information will be kept private in a secure electronic health record. Any paper documents will either be kept in a locked cabinet or shredded.
Our medical staff is all volunteers so depending on what day you come you will be seen by the volunteers who are available on that day. We currently have medical doctors, nurse practitioners, behavioral health clinicians, RN’s and MA’s who are volunteering.
Pregnancy tests, glucose check, urinalysis, and strep tests.
